National Renaissance Youth Vanguard (NRYV) has urged the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu to give room for professionals while selecting his cabinet members.
The group specifically noted that a highly skilled person with wealth of experience and requisite qualifications is needed to man the tourism sector so as to make Lagos the best tourist attractions in the world.
The Coordinator of the group, Comrade Gbolabo Ogunleye, stated this in a statement obtained by our correspondent on Sunday
Gbolabo also said the state could generate atleast N50b from the tourism industry if well steered by a professional, adding that the appointment of qualified persons will go a long way to accelerate the development in Lagos.
The statement read, “a leading advocate for the development of tourism in Lagos State, calls upon the esteemed Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to appoint a highly qualified professional to oversee the tourism sector.
