The Commissioner who represented Ondo State on the governing board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Hon. Gbenga Edema, has extended warm congratulations and glowing tributes to the First Lady of the state, Arabirin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, on her attainment of the 70-year landmark.
While describing the First Lady as a woman of immense grace, wisdom, and compassion, Edema stated that she has no doubt been an integral part of the state's success story, stressing that she has dedicated herself to various noble causes, leaving an indelible impact on the lives of countless individuals in the state and beyond.
Edema, in a tribute personally signed by him, expressed deep admiration for Betty, also known as Ada Owerri 1, for her unwavering commitment to community development and her tireless efforts to uplift the less privileged.
The erstwhile lawmaker added that, over the years, she has championed numerous initiatives aimed at empowering women and the girl-child with her philanthropic endeavours, touching the lives of many and providing opportunities and hope to those in need.
He acknowledged her unwavering support and immense sacrifices, enabling her husband, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, to effectively serve the people of Ondo State. He expressed his gratitude for her strength and resilience, calling her "a pillar of support and an epitome of grace."

As the wife of our dear Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, Governor of Ondo State, you have shown remarkable strength, grace, elegance, and resilience in your role as the First Lady, which confirms you as a woman of substance.
