With Hansi Flick overseeing a run of four losses in eight games in the Germany dugout, the nation's leading publication has called on their FA to replace him with Jurgen Klopp

German newspaper Bild has issued a plea for Hansi Flick to be replaced by Jurgen Klopp to rescue their chances at Euro 2024.
Flick is under increasing pressure as manager of his national team having suffered back-to-back friendly defeats to Poland and Colombia following a 3-3 draw with Ukraine last week.
Fortunately the poor run of form, which has seen them win just two of their last eight games, won't cost them a spot at next year's Euros as they're already qualified as the hosts.
But leading publication Bild want Flick gone before the tournament as they don't back the side getting near the trophy with him in charge.
Their sport editor wrote a lengthy editorial urging the German FA to do everything they can to try and convince Liverpool boss Klopp to take the reins.
They slammed Flick's tactics as "totally puzzling", questioning his lack of a No. 9 up front and his continued use of a back three. "He mostly does the opposite of the logical," it continued.
"Experiments, experiments, experiments, that we can't even afford. It's unbelievable how we're driving the Euro 2024 at full throttle against the wall."
Bild's article, which was titled 'DFB now has to fight for Klopp', then argued: "The premium solution is Jurgen Klopp. Already after the exit in Qatar he was sounded out - but in vain.
"He felt it was his duty to lead Liverpool out of the crisis! But the DFB has to fight for him with all its might. Klopp would put Germany in Euro euphoria from now on."
Klopp is contracted at Anfield for another three years, meaning it would take a hefty pay-out to secure his exit. The other option, of course, would be him managing both the Reds and his country.
Both seem unlikely, with Bild suggesting Oliver Glasner - who departed Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the season - and current director Rudi Voller as alternatives.
